These were mostly shot this last August. I wanted to see how I can make Lomo 800 into a Cinestill alternative (hint: it worked). I made absolutely sure to include the obligatory hipster shot of a gas station at night. I shot during the Calfires, mostly the lightning fires nearby (which covered three counties and was enough to cover the size of a small state; it was snowing ashes for days. Some of those shots look cloudy and gloomy and grey, but were shot in perfect sunlight but with a really dark sky. I tried to include the sun to document it, it was really a dim orange bulb in the sky most of the day, it doesn't carry over completely. Some walks on our favorite trail, the nearby ghettos, some smoky portraiture of my girls, and, of course, a date night at my wife's and my favorite grocery store (you settle for the simple things when you're locked down on a pandemic and that's really the only place you can go when the babysitter's over). Anywho, enjoy.

I forget In-n-Out's requirement in states they have their burger places: Fresh meat obtained from cattle-yard not more than 100 miles away. I heard they just opened one in Denver.

@neufotomacher I had no idea about that! Would make sense with their whole freshness appeal, though.
That's very cool. Thanks for the fun fact.
