I bought my first roll of film in 1992 and put in into my father's Petri TTL. Since then I regularly shot color negatives. Since 2001 I scanned all my films with Nikon Coolscan LS40, which was at the top of possible quality at that time. However, in 2007 I went with crowds and bought Nikon D80 and completly lost that miracle of analogue shooting for more than decade. And it happens in 2023, when my 19 years old daghter one day came and said: daddy, I would like to by an analogue camera. What? What for? Do you mean something like this? And showed her a Petri with three superb lenses, Nikon FM10 aka Cosina CT1 with all that Nikkor glass I collected within all that years and we started argue, why the hell she wants shoot analogue in the time when we have so amazing digital cameras with all that possibilities. She insisted the analogue capture has its spirit, its special feeling, nature and I tried to persuade her it is a bullshit and with a digital technique I can whenever make the same or better result. Nonetheles, I bought Fomapan 100 and we shot it together in FM10. I tried to explain her the basics, and what happend later? I completely falled in love with film cameras and film shooting and again started to enjoy all that excitement I have forgotten for so many years...
