   I just got an f801s myself, which lens are you pairing it with? I'm not sure if modern lenses would work properly. It's my first nikon slr and I'm a bit overwhelmed with the options out there

   Except my f801s, I have FE2 which is full analog camera. I have nonautofocus 50mm 1.8, 28mm 2.8 and 35mm 2.5 lenses. However, Nikon has AF Nikkor lenses which are I suggest you. If you have just f801, you should definetly buy autofocus lenses.

   @ddography Also, VR lenses that are modern era don’t work with f801s.

   Thanks man! I knew the ai/ai-s lenses since I owned one that I used adapted to my digital camera, and they are really good, so maybe I'll check those

   You’re welcome! As you know, Nikon has FX and DX Format lenses. Be careful about crop factors and full frame things (:
