I started to experiment with exposing photosensitive halide crystals to various amounts of light using mechanically timed handheld devices in March of 2025.
Later, in April of that year, I decided to try my hand at immersing the celluloid rolls containing said crystals in a sequence of liquid solutions that are of different levels of acidity. I soon found out that after I finish the process, more often than not, negative images resembling the episodes of my life appear on the celluloid rolls.
After a stint with hiring commercial providers to get digital copies of these small negative images, in order to achieve better economic efficiency, I have now hunted down a machine from the 00s that shines bright light through the celluloid rolls, and somehow sends JPEG files to my computer, so that I can admire them on screens.
Who knows what my immediate future holds? At this rate, I hope it won’t be long until I devise the solution to get the negative images to appear in bigger sizes on paper, all without the use of a personal computer. That would be nice.
