Went to learn how to self develop traditional black and white from my Sensei Reza. A wonderful experience it definitely is. :)

thanks brethren @bloomchen ! i treid to remember the position of the kinfe on the view finder, in this instance the centre, took a shot, then i mx'ed it with my brothers eyes. im not sure if anyone else noticed the eyes on the knife though. haha. :D

i guess they did not. sometimes people tend to consume pics on this page. me either. but usually i don´t go through the entire album anymore - i did in the past - but check interesting compositions or i don´t i can see on the thumbnail. i know i probably miss some nice shots but a selection makes me have a closer look on shots. well not always but most of the times. and the flying guy? all black around him on the first layer or how did this work?

i agree with you @bloomchen , through this analogue journey i try to find inspirational compositions. For the flying guy, it was captured on one shot. i held the camera steady, asked my brother to jump up after a countdown of 3-2-1, then snapped the shot. To make sure he looks like flying instead of jumping, i reminded him to lift his feet up so it is angled at 90 degrees, fighting the inertia as he caught hang time (refer to the photo, you can see he looks like he is standing.)

@bloomchen , i also asked him to do trial jumps so you can compose and not end up with a headless person photo, unless that's what you are aiming for. :D
