In Northkorea it's almost impossible to walk by yourself without surveillance and therefore contact with the locals is very limited. But there was this rare possibility, as we went up the giant stairs of the victory-monument in Pyongyang by ourselves. And there he was coming down, a pioneer. I asked him for a portrait, he was a little hesitant at first but then shyly agreed. I was very happy.
