Beneath the Great Tree

Sometimes, I feel so insubstantial that I'm almost invisible; certainly dim. Calls go unanswered. Messages un-replied to. Texts with no responses. Those things hurt. And make one feel unloved. Unwanted. Like faded print in an old book. Disappearing from existence. These double exposures are expressions of that loneliness.
