That sunny but cold (15 degrees Celsius) October afternoon I went to Bern to test a Nikon FE2 with Motordrive MD-12, which I just have repaired before. I couldn’t believe when I saw that girl dancing at the Bundesplatz between the ice-cold fountains. Nobody else was doing it. In the summer you find there many girls and children playing with the water. She had a photo shooting with a female photographer. So I thought that’s perfect a model for free. I used f8 and the Nikon FE2 shot between 1/1000-1/2000 sec. In a few minutes I have finished the film by using the Nikon 85mm f2 lens and an expired Kodak Gold 200. Later I talked tot he photographer and could see some of her pictures. Mostly out of focus. I told her better to use manual focus but she said no that doesn’t work either. My pictures are proofing that it works very fine.
