Royal Observer Corps Nuclear Oberservation Post, Crete Road West, Folkestone.

This time a little bit of cold war history; during the cold war the British Government set up a series of bunkers that would be manned by members of the Royal Observer Corps In these bunkers were a series of sensors including nuclear weapon strength and direction of fallout. They also contained a generator, bunks and rations. All of these ROC bunkers were stood down when the iron curtain came down in 1989. This particular one remains largely intact.
