Hi everyone, I’m Robert an artist in Halifax Nova Scotia Canada. For many years painting was my primary medium for artistic expression and still remains as important to me. However, recently I began to explore film photography as another way to create interesting images, that’s the hope anyway. One of my aims is to take photographs that have an ambience of time past, even though they’re shot in the present. What better way to accomplish that than with a vintage film camera. Surrealism also interests me and the use of film and camera techniques to create images that embody the dreamlike quality of the surreal. There is just so much to learn, explore and do! It’s a thrill to be part of a community of people, from around the world, united by a passion for film photography.
