Greg.

Greg is a takahe. He is part of the open sanctuary on Tiritiri Matangi island in New Zealand.

Takahe were thought to be extinct up until 1948 when a small group of them were discovered.

Some other birds that you can see on Tiritiri Matangi are: tui, kokako, kiwi, tieke (saddleback), piwakawaka (fantail), hihi (stitchbird), kakariki, yellowhammer, korimako (bellbird), toutouwai (NZ robin), popokatea (whitehead), kereru (NZ pigeon), kingfisher, various seabirds.
Some non-bird species you might see are the tuatara and the weta.

    @hervinsyah : it's a takahe. There's only around 250 left, so it's much rarer than the kiwi :)
