Wow! Is this the same said hotel in the rolls from the 1940s that I developed? I'd love to know more about this if possible? I'm researching the area and also the history in preparation to try and locate the original people in the photos :)

@guin Yes it is the same hotel. Located at Lochearnhead, I stayed at this hotel with my parents in 1980 when I was sixteen, sadly it doesn't appear to be there any longer. My father is the figure on the far right between the two cars.
The location is close to the 'Falls of Dochart' in Killin, which are shown in some of your other images. ;-)
@jonography superb :) I'm going to make a trip to the area later in the year but yes sadly the hotel is no longer there. I've submitted my image to a land registry site that's aiming to document lost scottish landmarks. I'll drop you a message with some details and also re the project I'm currently working on re the images and the subjects :)
